How to play Word Recall

Start Word Recall by looking at the playing area and its controls. Identify new and previously seen words before losing three lives. Look at what changes after your first action. Check the rule that explains your first action. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Included vocabulary and random repeats; a game, not a medical memory assessment.

Read before acting

Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Use the example to check your reasoning.

Your goal

Controls

Click or tap one of the two answer buttons. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Check any mode label before starting.

A useful example

PLANT seen earlier in the same round requires Seen before. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Verify the rule before continuing.

Watch out for this

A word from an earlier round does not count as seen now. Compare the situation with the worked example. Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart.
